Celebrate the Mother in your life with a family portrait!

Time flies by quickly, and while we can't stop it, we wanted to create an experience to celebrate the mom that you are or the mother figure in your life.

Upper Village Blooms is designing an immersive garden-themed installation next door, at LEAP Clubhouse for Mother's Day Portraits. Jill Paice of Copper and Tod Photography, based in Croton, will capture the magic. You have seen her work on our website and Instagram, and you can view more of her work on the Copper and Tod Photography website.

Our photo shoot is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th, which gives you plenty of time to order prints for the perfect Mother's Day gift.

Your photo session will be 20 minutes, and we guarantee 3-5 edited high-resolution digital images. There is an additional option to print. Reserve your time slot online on the Upper Village Blooms Calendly. Spaces are limited!

Once you sign up, we will send over a mood board and additional information for the day.

Mother's Day 2021

This year, we are facing a serious flower supply issue due to last year's pandemic shutdown. There has been a shortage of labor, plant material and bulbs, and an increase in extreme weather patterns in growing areas since 2020. Farms reacted to the pandemic by downsizing, cutting their crops or switching from flowers to marijuana. Furthermore, increased shipping costs due to curtailed passenger flights and freighter aircraft shifting their cargo to PPE and vaccines have impacted the price of fresh flowers.

We have been monitoring the flower markets to purchase our flowers at the best prices, however we are at the mercy of what will actually be shipped. Therefore, we urge you to order your flowers extra early this year!

Thank you for supporting us, your local florist. We are working without the global yoke of order gatherers.

Introducing Mother's Day Floral Workshops at Upper Village Blooms!

Spend 3 hours together in a fun and professional environment learning how to arrange flowers in our signature romantic style with a modern twist. In this class, you will learn how to grid a glass vessel, select appropriate flowers and walk away with the foundations of floral design.

The $100.00 per person fee includes refreshments, as well as the vase and flowers that go home with you. The retail value of the arrangement per person is $60-65.
